This legendary jockey will be competing or put mildly racSUNMETing against 2016 Durban July winner The Conglomerate at Kennilworth, Cape Town on January 28, for a staggering $500,000 on offer. Phew!

With jockeys’ ready to race off, this week the long list of participating horses were unleashed.

Dettori, famous for his flying dismounts -according to punters- will have a filled day in office but should he decide otherwise off the field of course, the likes of stunning Minnie Dlamini, sexy Khanyi Mbau and Cape Town’s darling Jeannie D, will be on hand to offer solace.

This year’s theme is ‘Decades of Glamour’ therefore; cognoscenti of South African style will all be in attendance elevating the glamour theme to the stratosphere. Aha

Yes, tills will be ka-ching and over R30m will be deposited in the coffers of the Province’s (GDP) pre and post the race, as a result of tourists, accommodation, etc…

Tickets to the race cost R150.

Tickets to the official after party presented by Guess, featuring Kyle Deustsch featuring Shekhinah, Euphonik, Micasa, Sketchy Bongo and others will cost R300 per person.
