Mi Casa’s Mamela reaches over 1m viewership in the same week as St Valentine!

This follows news that the house band Micasa, reached over 1million viewership for their latest single Mamela, that was released in 2020, resulting in the song becoming a national anthem.

The smooth and melodic We Made It, the third song from the Micasa’s fifth album, was conceived during lockdown and Mamela was a cherry on top of a cake.

Excited with the news, he continued: “We reached 1mllion views on You Tube, we have been blessed with the best fans ever, who have been supporting us and streaming our music over the years,” he says.

The song Mamela (listen) is simply about a need to take a vacation with the woman you love, as the video depicts. Whether coincidence or not the song reached its million viewership in the same week as lovers celebrate St Valentine.

Indeed love is in the air…

The multi award-winning Afro-House trio, are signed to global Afroforce1 Records, a division of Universal Music Group Africa.

This means growing their wings to international markets.
