What a relief. What a much needed win for Bucs!

One of underrated players in PSL. Sifiso Myeni scored in last night’s 2-0 win against Tuks.

The result brings some relief to the Bucs camp as they return to winning ways and piles more pressure on Tuks, who are further entrenched in a relegation battle.

For starters, Bucs’s coach has been on the receiving end but the tough as nail Eric Tinkler, has stood his ground and said” I won’t resign”.

Secondly, the fans also gave the players a hard time as a result of poor results, some even going to the extend of lashing at the administration.

An agitated avid Bucs fan, who happens to be a security guard in my neighbourhood, questioned why the administration and club’s boss Dr Irvin Khoza has not intervened, amongst others.

In my humble response, I said last season Bucs were out of the top eight but came back to make it in the top four. Also, I indicated the fact that the team has been busy with their Continental CAF games, of which some may have already forgotten they made it to the finals.

And guess, what this morning he gave me a high five and unapologitically said, you were spot on.” My team will bounce back,” he quipped.

If that’s the case, then happy days are back at the HAPPY PEOPLE’S team!
