Ladysmith Black Mambazo nominated again for Grammies!

Recognised internationally. Ladysmith Black Mambazo has been nominated once again for the Grammy Awards in 2016.

It is none other than Ladysmith Black Mambazo that has again being nominated for the prestigious Grammy Awards next year.

Celebrated for their iscathamiya and soul shaking combo, the group has been nominated in the Best World Music Album category for their album Music From Inala featuring Ella Spira & The Inala Ensemble.

LBM is nominated in the same category as Gilberto Gil, Angelique Kidjo, Anoushka Shankar and Zomba Prison Project.

This is the group’s 16th nomination of which they’ve gone to win four times, under the tutelage and leadership of ubaba Tshabalala.

The songs on the album consists of songs performed live across the United Kingdom and Moscow as part of the theatrical production Inala – A Zulu Ballet.

The 58th annual Grammy Awards are scheduled for February 15, Los Angeles 2016.
