Royal Baking Powder challenges your baking skills

No cars allowed. TV presenter Lunga Tshabalala’s baking skills will be put to the test during the Royal Baking Powder campaign.

That’s because often than not we indulge in attempting to bake to kill time or avoid boredom and who’s your pal: the infamous Royal Baking Powder-aha.

Even my Gran still sends me to get her one every two weeks to show off her baking skills.

As part of taking baking to another level Royal Baking Powder has partnered with chef and food stylist extraordinaire Zola Nene and Royal Coach and two Royal Rookies in the kitchen Lunga Shabalala and Leigh- Ann Mol, to show off what skills they possess as they face the heat from the micro-oven.

The campaign allows consumers to turn their baking and cooking dishes from total flops to tops!

The campaign will kick-off with a tease video of our Rookies royally flopping up their baked goods and will showcase our Royal Coach taking the Rookies under her wing and teaching them how to conquer their flopped recipe – all with the help of Royal Baking Powder.

In addition to the launch of our Royal Coach and Rookies, consumers stand a chance to win YuppieChef Vouchers or Kitchen appliances with Royal Baking Powder on social media.

To enter for a chance to win, consumers are asked to showcase their own personal baking flops. Royal Baking Powder will then respond to the most entertaining flops with a Tried and Trusted solution and send winners a YuppieChef Voucher or Kitchen appliances with Royal Baking Powder to ensure their next attempt rises to the occasion.

Adding even more action to the campaign, Royal Baking Powder will be leveraging off significant days on the South African calendar urging consumer to show off their culinary skills by cooking and baking a delicious dishes all year round, including Easter, Mother’s Day and of course Christmas!
