‘Tsekeleke’s death-he was owed by the agency

No more. ‘Tsekeleke’ died on Tuesday. The Kwaito star also appeared in the popular Smoothies TV Ad but was not paid.

Born Mackson Tholo, died on Tuesday according to DJ Vetkuk, his friend a colleague at Kalawa Records.

“I can confirm that Tsekeleke died at around 7pm. I have just been notified of this by his family‚” Vetkuk said.

He complained about leg amputation last year, after being diagnosed with diabetes but details on his death are still unknown.

According to SowetanLive he then turned to controversial Pastor Mboro for “divine intervention.”

Mboro placed the musician on a two-month “rehabilitation programme” which included special prayer sessions.

The Mabopane born-Pretoria was known for hits such as Fatty Boom Boom and Tsekeleke.  He was also close to both Senyaka and Kamazu, who are late.

‘Tsekeleke’ also appeared in Smoothies TV commercial Ad but to him that was a bad move.

The controversial deal was allegedly signed for two years with King James II Ad Agency but was only paid for two months in 2016.

As a result, ‘Tsekeleke’ cried foul and declared “I’m broke and could not even afford to buy a sandwich”.

It’s unknown if the deal was resolved.

Rest in Peace ‘Tseks’ your humility will be missed by all.
