Gagging of the book, electricity outages, death threats but author Pauw says nothing will stop the truth from being exposed

Unrelentless. The President’s Keepers author Jacques Pauw says the book is going for another print despite threats by SSA and Sars.

This is the chilling encounter by investigative journalist Pauw, whose book has got the tongue wagging worldwide for exposing alleged corruption dealings by the President of South Africa.

To make matters worse at the book launch a multiple power outage took place at Exclusive Books in Johannesburg, with only camera lights providing the lit on his face. An act of sabotage it is possible.

This has prompted fears that his life might be in danger.

“I received a call from a private number while I was speaking to Ronnie Kasrils about his book. The person said: ‘I you don’t stop writing about Jacob Zuma‚ you are going to be dead’‚” Pauw told SABC 2’s Morning Live viewers on Tuesday.

Pauw said the threat was the third he has received since his book was published‚ but that he was not “overly” concerned about them.

The President’s Keepers exposes Pres JG Zuma’s alleged corrupt activities, shows how the country is becoming a gangster state, amongst others.

State Security Agency and Sars have also demanded total halt of distribution of the book but Pauw, is adamant nothing like that will ever happen and indicated there are still more copies being printed.

Interestingly, rumour-mill has it on good authority that another book is on its way exposing Zuma and his shenanigans.

He said he knew he might also face years’ of legal trouble over the book.

Pauw also confirmed the second gag by SSA not to publish the book.
