A call to support children living with cancer

Whether you are a serious runner, parents with children, moms pushing prams or just want to walk the route with your dog, it is a fun run event for everyone, with the option of doing a 5km or 7.8km route.

Participants will also be able to indulge in a luxury breakfast after the run – prepared and served by the Four Seasons staff, as well as an awards ceremony during which raffle, race, and fundraising prizes will be handed out.

September is Childhood Cancer Awareness month. Over the past two decades, Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts around the world have raised over a billion Rands towards Cancer Research. The funds provided by the Run for Hope will be used to support CHOC Childhood Cancer Foundation South Africa to establish programs that create a better life for the increasing number of underprivileged survivors, cared for in Johannesburg.

Four Seasons Hotel The Westcliff is also looking for co-sponsors who may be keen to get involved with this worthy cause – whether it is monetary donations or through food, beverages, items for the goodie bags, or anything else that will help raise funds for CHOC.

Support this worthy cause and get involved in this year’s Run For Hope event.  For more information or to purchase tickets visit www.westcliffrunforhope.co.za

Run for Hope is an event for the whole family and will be held on Sunday, 9 September from 7:00am until 12:00pm in Westcliff, from the Hope School sports grounds.
