AKA’s Bhavomania has Cassper ‘thinking twice’

The controversial auto-tune mega hosted what was supposed to be a listening session recently and the same fans came out in large numbers to sample what ‘Bhovamania’ is all about, following a huge social media trend.

As it turned out the launch album (sic) ‘Bhovamania’ project was long completed in September but due to the pandemic had to reschedule.

The album is inspired by his love for wrestling, and who would forget the much anticipated battle with his nemesis Cassper Nyovest, that’s if the ‘fight or wrestling’ will ever materialise, if its not a publicity stunt between two?

And a song “Mufasa” has grabbed everyone’s attention, if not Cass himself?

The title and overarching creative is an ode to AKA’s love of sport, particularly wrestling, and brings out his alter ego persona.

EP Bhovamania is a 13 track- album that features some of the most notable names including Sho Madjozi, K.O, Yanga Chief, L-Tido and more.

He was quoted as having said: “This is my first conceptual album and I am really excited about how everyone experiencing it,” said AKA.

He also responded to those who claimed he was not talented because he couldn’t sing or play an instrument.

“I can hold a note. I cannot sing. I can play the mouse. I cannot play with piano. I’ve been using auto since Victory Lap. You don’t criticise Travis for using it or criticise Pitch Black Afro for using the exact same flow as Busta Rhymes. I rest my case”, he was quoted previously.

He said that if people wanted to hear someone sing they should “go to Judith Sephuma’s show”.

“I am not a singer. Sjava is a singer. Tshego is a singer. Zonke is a singer. Nah mean? Sjeje and Jabba are singers, I am not. I know my strengths and weaknesses. And I know how to execute and do what I need to do with what God has given me.”

Showing signs of being a gym fundi, AKA was accompanied by his (21) girlfriend Nelli Tembe.
