Bafana Bafana tech partner HONOR unveils 600 Series, as the team prepares for 2026 WC

“MY WISH is to see my team progress to the elimination stages at the 2026 World Cup”, says Bafana Bafana coach Hugo Broos.

He was speaking to members of the press at the launch of HONOR 600 Series, held at the Gallager Convention Center, Midrand on Wednesday evening.

Having released preliminary squad ahead of the WC opener with one of the host cities- Mexico-  Broos, who looked relaxed in a suit and Adidas sneakers, remarked he’s ready to retire and Bafana should make sure he enjoys his retirement, by progressing to elimination stages.

“Its my dream that I’ve been working on for sometime now, and the boys are ready to face the world and show their mettle on the pitch, come the opener on June 11,” he said, after taking a cold one alongside his goalkeeper coach.

With the exception of players who are doing duty for their respective side as the PSL season comes to a close, and Mamelodi Sundowns playing their final against a Morocco outfit (of which they are leading by a goal), other celebrities braced the evening cold and came to experience this talked about HONOR 600 Series launch.

Bafana play their farewell match next weekend at Orlando Stadium against Nicaragua.

Built for South Africans, it will be available for R19 999 or from R799x36 months and 600 will be available in Orange and Black for R14 999 or from R549x36 months.

An added incentive is for consumers who purchase the 600 Series will be able to receive free redeemable gifts worth up to R8287.

Consumers who purchase and HONOR 600 Series will receive an HONOR CHOICE Earbuds Clip Valued at R1999 and an HONOR CHOICE Watch 2i Valued at R999.

They are available in Golden White and Orange.
