Hollywoodbets Dbn July unveil theme, artists, and international broadcaster for the much-awaited race

DANCE divas and music lovers are in for a rare treat at the Hollywoodbets Durban July.

Artists Micasa, Will Linleyand Tamara Dey have confirmed they will be performing on the big stage, on Saturday 4 July 2026.

The musicians are among a star-studded line up who will be entertaining at Hollywoodbets Greyville Racecourse in Durban, where guests can look forward to a winning combination of world-class horse racing, high fashion, music and entertainment.

Micasa are a celebrated house band with a brace of best-selling albums and industry awards under their belts. It was recently announced that the trio will be representing South Africa later this year at the Fifa World Cup.

Chart-topping Will Linley is among a new wave of young singer-songwriters helping to redefine local music.

And DJ and vocalist Tamara Dey is a big-hitter in the electronic dance scene with more than 25 years in the business to her credit.

Apart from the big stage performances, the three acts will also be entertaining an exclusive audience at the Hollywoodbets marquees.

Confirmation that Dey, Linley and Micasa are among the day’s headline acts comes hot on the heels of news that Anlia Etzebeth will be performing the national anthem at the be Hollywoodbets Durban July.

A celebrated performer on screen and stage, Anlia has delivered standout live moments, including a powerful rendition of the South African anthem at Cape Town Stadium in 2022 when Springbok Eben Etzebeth marked his 100th test cap with a Man of the Match performance.

This year’s theme is “Country Allure”.

It’s an invitation to designers, fashion-lovers, and racegoers to draw inspiration from our country’s dramatic, rural landscapes and the elegance of our equestrian culture.

Meanwhile, 10-time voted Racing Broadcaster of the Year, Nick Luck, will be in Durban on 4 July for the race.

A multiple award-winning presenter for Racing TV and NBC Sports, Luck has spent more than two decades covering the world’s premier racing events.

For global punters, trainers and connections, his presence at Africa’s greatest horse racing and lifestyle event reflects the increasing international recognition and appeal of the Hollywoodbets Durban July.
