STUDENTS at Wits University win big.
This as the new HONOR X5d S was unveiled in partnership with Metro FM on Tuesday, that saw few students winning goodies, including the brand gadget.
According to HONOR, this forms part of its nationwide campus- engaging with students as they fall within their market category, as well as the festive season that is fast approaching.
The new device is packed with features such as 6.78 inches main screen, with a 2.01 inches secondary screen.
Resolution is at 720×1576 pixels for the main display and 240×296 pixels for the secondary display, with peak brightness at 600nit for the main screen, all incased in aluminosilicate glass.
With two screens and colour options available in Forest Green and Midnight Black, the device has technological and design quality that is class leading in its category, according to HONOR.
The X5d S allows for loads of fun activities such as taking a one tap selfie, which lets the small back screen act as a live preview window, so you can take the best selfies of you and your friends.
For the animal lover, the back screen brings a “touch of fun” to your daily use through personalised interactive themes such as the “Select a Pet” feature, through which you can set up an interactive digital pet right on the rear display.
The pet reacts to your touches, sleeps when the phone is idle, and acts as an adorable companion throughout the day.
A planned day of adventure at the mall or at the football field to watch your favourite rising kasi flava star can fall flat if your battery can’t stay on the entire time.
As a solution to avoid such scenarios, the X5d S’ Lithium-ion polymer battery is up to the task at a capacity of 6000 mAh, boosted by 15w of charging power – recording your friend’s entire first set as an up-and-coming DJ at the hottest local spot will not be a problem with such long-lasting battery power.
The 50MP rear camera is supported by video shooting capabilities, with 4X digital zoom.
On the front end, the camera boasts a 5MP camera that is supported by 1080P (1920×1080) pixels of video shooting capabilities, ensuring that all your content looks sharp, whether you’re at a graduation ceremony or attending your very first Amapiano show.
It also boast IP52 water and dust resistance that will ensure that you stay at the centre of what’s happening from this Spring through the summer filled Festive Season.
And yes, its affordable from R2499, available from October 7 nation-wide.
