This years’ RedSquare DJs battle hots up under the collar!

Just as we were still reeling off from last year’s line of top DJs, they’ve roped in celebrated artists/DJs for this years’ competition.

The flamboyant Metro FM afternoon drive show host Tbo Touch has been tasked with an arduous job of judging, his first since the introduction of the knockout in 2007.

Billed to perform at this year’s RedSquare DJs finale at Dickinson Park, December 16.

Auditions are currently on at various parts of Gauteng; North-West and Mpumalanga, Newcastle-Durban and for the first time Cape Town and Bloemfontein.

Previous first prize winners include DJ Shimza, DJ Romeo, DJ Pentse, DJ Lite, DJ Khomza, DJ Bhaze and last years’ female winner and Pretoria based DJ Divalash.

The RedSquare DJ Knock-Out seeks to empower and provide job opportunities for aspiring DJs countrywide; as part of economic empowerment by the company.

Headlining the 2015 finals challenge is chart-topper Cassper Nyovest, Kelly Khumalo, KO, Durbanites, Riky Rik, Oskido, Tira and local DJs from the Vaal area.

Marketing Director for RedSquare-the ever hardworking- Victor Selaelo says its’ all system go and looks forward to another great turn out at the finals, considering the line-up, he said upon meeting during inspection of the venue recently.

Durbanites will keep revelers on tender-hooks at the finale.

Dickinson Park (Vereening) is the host venue and December 16 is the date for DJs to mesmerize the judges and throngs of revelers expected.

The first 100 ladies to arrive at the venue dressed in white (I guess it’s a theme dress code) and cooling off in a Red Square product stand a chance to win VIP tickets.

Tickets are available from R60 until Friday the 13th of November and thereafter R120.
