Gone but forgotten. Ted “Mr Magic” Dumitru’s memorial service to take place today at Ellis Park Arena.

The former Bafana Bafana coach died at age of 75 after suffering a heart attack while at Eastgate Mall on Thursday.

The Romanian was also the head coach of Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns.

Dumitru, who was nicknamed ‘the professor’, will be remembered in a memorial service at Ellis Park Arena.

He had a coaching stint in Zambia but it was with Chiefs where he rose to prominence.

The former coach is also one of the fewest coaches to have led Sundowns and Orlando Pirates.

It begins at 12:30.
