Despite lackluster performance against Swaziland last night, whom they walloped 5-1, the boys recollected themselves by salvaging a win over a 10-man neighbours, at Sam Nujoma Stadium in Windhoek, yesterday.
The performance was a sloppy piece of play that would have sent a shiver down the spine of Under-23 coach Owen da Gama ahead of the Rio de Janeiro Olympic Games in August.
The games are used as preparations and both coaches Shakes Mashaba and ODG know a win will boost their charges going forward.
The last time Bafana made it to the finals of COSAFA was in 2002, 2007 and 2008.
South Africa will now face neighbours Botswana (who beat DR C 5-4 on penalties) in the finals on Sunday, at Sam Nujoma Stadium on June 25.
Kick off 18:30.
