Chiefs out, Downs defend PSL title, as nominees for the awards revealed

PREMIER SOCCER League and DStv has released nominees be it players or clubs, for 2023/24 football season awards.

As always, there will be those that fans feel should be winners and the other way around.

After- all it’s a sport of billions- that solicits emotions and opinions.

For the very first time the county’s darling, Kaizer Chiefs players, do not feature, thus summing up the poor season the club has experienced.

Added to misery, it fell off the MTN8 campaign as well for this season, now perched at number 10 on the log.

Fans will have to forgive me for picking up on AmaKhosi, because this a decorated club with rich history, pride and personality. Alas all that has gone pear-shaped. Amen!
