AT his fab 40’ birthday dinner last week, the founder of popular hangout Disoufeng- Tebogo Phiri said what drives him is success.
The very success has seen the unruffled and collected Tebogo out-grow the business to what it is today, from humble beginnings at Dobsonville Mall to his own ‘empire’.
Boasting various businesses from accommodation to massage parlour, for him it’s about creating wealth for others’ he quipped. ”Mine is to open up business opportunities for everyone and by so doing, we shall be closing the gap of poverty and unemployment in our society.
“I’m fortunate for having been afforded that opportunity and now I’m reciprocating.”
Surrounded by family and wife, Tebogo, the momentous occasion was also graced by his other business peers in Soweto, who dined and popped out champagnes until the wee hours of the following day.
At the birthday soiree Tebogo also revealed this year’s 4th annual Durban July Invasion to be hosted by Disoufeng Pub and Restaurant.
The package includes premium hosting over three-days in Durban, that will add to the fiscus of KZN GDP considering the floods and looting that besieged the province.
