FNB offers vehicle license renewal cut fee to R69

FOLLOWING the significant fee reduction that FNB made last year in November to revolutionise the license disc renewal by enabling customers to renew their vehicle licence discs for a service fee of just R99 inclusive of delivery on its App, the bank has now further reduced the combined service and delivery fee to R69 for a promotional time period, which can be paid in cash or eBucks, making it the best and most versatile price point in the market.

Another benefit is that, if you get a no obligation insurance quote with FNB insurance and renew your licence disc on the FNB App, you get R99 back in eBucks. This decision is in line with the banks ethos of help and is informed by the economic pressures that consumers are experiencing, such as high interest rates and inflation.

This service from FNB is offered in collaboration with the Road Traffic Management Corporation (RTMC), with no paperwork, if you are the registered owner of the vehicle.

To renew a vehicle licence disc through the FNB App, simply use your smart device to scan your vehicle license disc and complete the renewal process with secure in-app payment.

Jolandé Duvenage, nav» Chief Imagineer at FNB, says, “This is another way we’re helping our customers navigate life and the tough economic environment by offering affordable, seamless, and secured solutions for their car needs.

The service continues to grow in popularity, with over 1 million vehicles uploaded to the platform and 107 000 vehicle license renewals completed over the past 12 months.”

The vehicle license renewal service is part of a comprehensive range of solutions that are available to FNB customers as part of its broader nav» Car ecosystem offering.

This includes helping customers get free vehicle value estimates, pay traffic fines, insure their vehicles against theft, and protect against scratches, or dents, and access vehicle repair providers or take up an extended warranty to minimize the cost of mechanical repairs.

“Our commitment to innovation and customer satisfaction continues to drive the solutions we offer our customers to solve for their individual, family, and business needs.

We pride ourselves in being the ultimate destination for our customers not only for their banking needs, but their lifestyle needs,” concludes Duvenage.
