KAYA FM will be ringing-in changes as from next week.
Sizwe Dlomo, who has been holding the morning slot, sees new brand name Siz The World with Sizwe Dlomo from 6am to 9am.
He’s backed by Sol Phenduka, Mpho Maboi (sport) and Mfundo Mabalane (news).
Sizwe took over after the resignation of controversial Dineo Ranaka, who blamed her poor performance on “mental recess”.
Much talked about broadcast guru Glen Lewis joins the station from Radio 2000.
Born Mpitseng Tshinaba, the Pimville born will handle the popular afternoon drive show titled ‘959 With Glen Lewis’ from 3pm until 6pm.
The well-travelled Glen’s team comprise of comedian Skhumba Hlophe, Kgomotso Meso and Angie Khumalo and Ayanda Nyathi.
Seasoned broadcaster Azania Mosaka, who is now abroad, was courted to handle the after-noon drive show. She’s from Pimville, Soweto as well.
“Initially, we were planning on getting Azania Mosaka to do the afternoon drive but she ended up moving overseas and we’ve now gone back to the drawing board… and now we have Glen Lewis,” Dhlomo was quoted.
