And for her effort, the lass from KwaZulu- Natal will share the stage with celebrated musicians at this weekend’s Jack Daniel’s Boomtown Durban July on Saturday July 1.
This year sees the fifth season of competition, in which scouts search for nationwide authentic musical talent be it unsigned musicians, vocalists, producers and DJs.
Following her win the fly-one from KZN says: “Being a Jack Daniel’s Music Scout 2017 means the world to me.
It means that I must start pushing harder as an artist because my brand will now gain greater mileage both locally and internationally,” she quipped.
“For my musical career, it means that the brand that I have been working so hard on will now be recognised and be associated with big brands like Jack Daniels which means that I am on the right path. A greater challenge is always welcome!”
The competition since its inception has produced the high on rotation and female star Gigi Lamayne, amongst others.
