This time they’re looking for individuals, who are not currently employed as actors, to appear in a new South African-made movie.
“The search is on for South Africa’s most colourful characters. We will be looking for individuals who are unique, distinctive and will add colour to the movie. MAQ is very excited to be launching this project and providing South Africans with the opportunity to appear in a movie,” says Jacqueline Jacobs, Marketing and Sales Director at MAQ Washing Powder.
MAQaMovie is an upliftment initiative, so only people who are not currently employed as actors may enter. These individuals will go through to the next audition phase where the film selection team will be looking for five different characters who will add colour to the story, much like MAQ washing Powder brightens up your day!
The auditions will take place from February to March in various provinces including Gauteng, Limpopo, KwaZulu-Natal, Eastern Cape, Free State, Mpumalanga and North West Province, with finals in Johannesburg.
Also stand a chance to win one of five movie roles and one of 5 x R 10 000 prizes.
Requirements for Entry:
* Currently unemployed as an actor,
* Must be over 18 years of age, be South African citizen and must have a valid ID document,
* Must be willing to be photographed and interviewed for MAQ publicity purposes.
