Kuhn to represent mzansi at the bartender competition in Berlin

Punchin’ the air with aplomb. Travin Kuhn will represent SA in the Diageo World Class bartending competition to be held in Berlin, Germany in October.

Enter 2018 we have a new winner who will represent SA at the world bartender event, Travis Kuhn, following an intense Best Bartender regional finals in Cape Town.

Now in its 9th edition, the Diageo Reserve World Class Bartender competition is the industry’s most prestigious mixology event and aims to elevate the skill and craft of the bartending profession, setting global trends and standards in the service industry.

“I’m so incredibly amazed and excited to be the winner this year, it’s been a gruelling week taking on all the challenges against some of the most skilled bartenders that I’ve met.

Participating in the competition again this year has been amazing enough but to finish off as the winner…I’m so delighted!” says Kuhn, who will shake it off with other mixologists from 60 countries.

Dom De Lorenzo World Class Brand Ambassador said: “This has been special with all 10 bartenders and no one disappointed, we have truly been mind-blown. Diageo World Class is the world’s leading bartending competition and the finalists are leading the way in the cocktail culture.”

The finals take place October 2018 in Berlin (Germany)- so in the mean time anyone who has ideas on how Kuhn should ‘outdrink’ his competitors should help were possible, or kanjani?

Yep, lets drink to that…
