According to media brief details sent through SMS on early hours this morning, the briefing will give Nkabinde to respond to allegations made by EFF leader Julius Malema that over 12 artists signed to the label received “not less than R5 million” and that the funds came from dodgy government tenders.
The minister of Water and Sanitation Nomvula Mokonyane was also mentioned by Malema, to have allegedly given Nkabinde some tenders.
Malema made the allegations at the IEC press conference at the IEC results centre live on TV on last Friday.
Meanwhile, Hip-hop star Riky Rick has come out with guns blazing on the damning accusations made EFF boss.
He said that:
“Bhek… There is no R5million I ever received from anyone… @Julius–S–Malema DO NOT LIE TO THE PEOPLE‚” wrote Riky on Twitter.
“Anyone who knows me knows how hard we work for what we have… @Julius–S–Malema included. Dont ever get it twisted‚” he added.
