Macufe under threat!

These bogus suspects use Smacufeocial Media and other platforms to entice artists to deposit money as part of registering for Macufe fest, that takes place annually in Bloemfontein, October.

According to the department of sport, arts and culture they see this in a very serious light and sent a warning to artists not to fall for the scam.

MEC Mathabo Leeto says:” It is unacceptable that a festival with reputation and excellence such as Macufe is used by individuals for personal gains. I urge artists from FS not to fall for the scams and be on the look-out for official invites from the department,” she warned.

At the time of publishing, no comment was given by the department on whether any well known or unknown artists were targeted and if, a fraud case has been opened?
