The race took off last week at Eersterus Stadium, Pretoria.
Alongside Malungane, Vincent Kipchirchir of Nedbank took the trophy for the 21,1km Men’s Open at a time of 01:10:35.
Also taking trophies home were top runner Stephen Mokoka of Transnet, winner of the 10km Men’s Open at a time of 30:52 and Kataza Shipalane of Transnet, winner of the 10km Women’s Open at a time of 37:33.
The race attracted over 2000 entrants.
