Mnisi comes highly recommended at Hyundai SA

HYUNDAI Automotive South Africa is pleased to announce the appointment of Zweli Mnisi, as the new General Manager: Corporate Communications, effective today, 03 February 2025.

Zweli is an accomplished Communications Executive, with over 20 years’ experience in brand management, corporate communications, media liaison, digital and stakeholder engagement; executed across various multinationals as well as in the public sector.  In his recent corporate role, he served as Head of Public Relations, Media Engagement & Digital: East and Southern Africa Region at Nestle.

He also successfully implemented and provided strategic leadership in cutting-edge projects, both locally and internationally, resulting in positive and sustainable earned media coverage.  Zweli has held various senior leadership positions, including:

  • Head of Communications and Media Relations at Accenture (South Africa).
  • Chief Director: Communications/Spokesperson at the Ministry of Police, South Africa.
  • Appointed as the first Public Relations & Executive Communications Manager at Cisco (South Africa).
  • Appointed as the first Director: Communications and Marketing at the then National Department of Sport and Recreation South Africa.
  • Appointed as the first Public Relations and Communications Manager at Proudly South African.
