“Khuli Chana from Mmabatho Unit 2 in Mahikeng is a Mmabana talent show product and our brand Ambassador, pride and an inspiration to many of our young people who are looking up to him as a trendsetter.
“We wish him well and trust that all of us will do the right thing and mobilise the support that he needs to propel him for an international career,” Modise said in congratulating Khuli Chana on his nomination.
She added that Khuli Chana’s motto: “Inspiration exists but it must find you working” should encourage more young people to reach for their dreams.
“I’ve been waiting for this moment all my life. I’m ready for the world stage. I’m Amped” exclaimed Khuli Chana upon receiving this nomination for the awards scheduled to take place on 1 March 2014 at the prestigious Queen Elizabeth Theatre in Toronto.
