The opening of taxi rank will revolutionarise the environment to all, says Pareto Group

PARETO Limited had a momentous occasion marking a groundbreaking collaboration with the City of Tshwane, Menlyn Taxi Association (MTA), and Mamelodi Amalgamated Taxi Association (MATA) recently.

This is an innovative mobility solution set to revolutionize the Menlyn community.

This strategic partnership highlights Pareto’s dedication to fostering collaboration among key stakeholders for the betterment of urban development.

The Lois Avenue project, is testament to commitment to creating a vibrant and inclusive urban environment.

Menlyn Park Shopping Centre, hosting approximately 1 million monthly visitors and support staff, serves as the perfect backdrop for this momentous occasion.

This project, which commenced last year, addresses the long-standing issue of operational chaos and severe congestion on Lois Avenue, much to the relief of residents and motorists.

The initiative, realised through a signed lease agreement with local taxi associations and Menlyn Park Shopping Centre, includes two dedicated taxi facilities within the mall.

This development not only promises to ease traffic congestion but also aims to create a more organised and safer environment for both commuters and informal traders.

The launch of the Menlyn Taxi Rank speaks to our whole-of-society approach where the City works together with communities, the private sector, and businesses to improve services and build a City that works for all its people,” noted Cilliers Brink, Mayor of Tshwane.
