Meanwhile, the Mayor of Joburg, Kabelo Gwamanda says the awards are epitome of the country’s youth to do things for themselves.
The Mayor also said in future they will consider partnering with the awards as part of inclusivity and youth empowerment.
Looking fit and healthy following reports of illhealth, Gwamanda says he’s now ready “to roll with punches and hit the ground running like now as I’m attending the awards to offer support”, reports Sydney Morweng- News Ed.
“Yes, I’m a chain-smoker but now my health comes first and the job at hand requires me to be hard at work, rejuvenating the City especially after the budget vote and providing much needed services to our people,” he said.
