Lekgwathi who has lifted two major cups and the Premier League title last season said they’re not going to look-down on Leopards irrespective of their poor run in the league.“Leopards are fragile and such animals can take you down if un-prepared,” he warned.
“Although we’ve been having a bad run as well, we are not going to let Leopards take advantage of our situation. We’re champs by the way,” he says. “We take each game as it comes and play to win each game, so it does not matter league or cup we play to win. “If we win this game, it will set us up for the next match in terms of confidence. Pirates are a big team and beating them will be a massive boost for us,” says Bobe, Leopards striker. Just last week Leopards lost 2-0 to Kaizer Chiefs but Bobe says they took some lessons out of that clash and will apply the lessons learned when they face the triple champs. “Last week was an eye opener and we have learnt from our mistakes. The important thing is now to correct what went wrong. Both sides are very good but they play differently, very differently. We have to focus on our strengths and make sure we cancel out Pirates attack.”
“We know what they are capable of but we have been unlucky in some matches and did not deserve to lose, and this time a loss knocks you out of a competition which is what we do not want.”
