An all female line-up at the Birchwood Comes Alive music fest

Top draw act. Amanda Black features at the Birchwood Comes Alive all-female show on Friday 11.

She comes across as a character blossoming with ideas- considering she’s a former teacher from Eastern Cape, who decided ‘professing’ in-front of learners was not her thing, thus the comedy bug had beaten.

And she has vowed never to return to the class anytime soon, stru!

Soft speaking yet unassuming, she forms part of the Ekurhuleni Comes Alive Jazz Evening on Friday, 11 August at The Birchwood Hotel & OR Tambo Conference Centre in Boksburg.

As part of celebrating Women’s Month, the all female line up also features top stars Amanda Black, Naima Kay, up coming songstress Palesa Phalane who adds her own “new age” twist to the traditional Afro-Jazz genre.

Former teacher. Comedienne Khanyisa Bunu will revel on her best form at the music show.

Returning on stage as well is comedienne Noko Moswete.

Embrace a night of femininity with your favourite group of ladies (gentlemen welcome too!) along with a delicious meal and a glass of wine in celebration of Women’s month by booking your table of 10 at R4 500 or R450 per a person.

Resident MC and motivational speaker Hector Motau, will be on hand to deliver his magic in the presence of fine ladies. Talk of a ‘thorn amongst roses’.

It begins from 8pm sharp.

For bookings call(011) 897 0141.
