Skwatta Kamp’s offering Mama Akekho causes mayhem

Back in da game Skwatta Kamp unleash new single Mama Akekho.

Released this week, the group famous for hits Umoya, Mkhukhu Function, amongst others decided to re-unite following allegations of a break-up and boisterous egos.

But it seems its all water under the bridge following their latest offering Mama Akekho– Mom ain’t around (lets party until the wee hours of the following day), that was further exacerbated by the death of Alexandra born Flabba three-years ago and the resignation of another member.

But it seems these not deter them as maturity and personal evolution has been the order of the day in the group.  And 2019 will see the group unleashing a full-laden album.

In 2018, they released  “There You Go” a song dedicated to celebrate the life of Flabba, as they felt the need to reconnect and pay tribute to their fallen soldier ahead of working on any future music projects together.

‘Mama Akekho’ refers to iconic group’s originality and ability to steer their fun storytelling through music; and is definitely a throw forward to what their music lovers can expect from their most anticipated comeback album in 2019.

“The demands and requests for new music has been growing rapidly from fans and the group believes that now is the right time,” they were quoted.

Skwatta Kamp is made up of ‘first lady ‘Relo, Shugasmakx, Slikour, Nish, Bozza and Nemza.

‘Mama Akekho’ is produced by Jayhbee and features Assessa and Pays.

It is available on digital music platforms, mobile networks and SlikourOnLife.
