Legendary has it that, where there is God there’s life!
Having been successfully launched in Lesotho last year, this year it will be entering its second installment with a plethora of other up and coming Gospel artists of note. According to the organisers, that would be confirmed at later stage.
Sipho Makhabane from Big Fish Productions, who are co-partners, says repeats are already happening and that this year’s show at Coca Cola Park should be sold out.
“The national tour began in March last year in Bisho (Lesotho), and this year we’ll be back there again, before our Coca Cola Park debut. As things stand we’re all entirely committed to making the show an annual event.”
The overarching message of the tour, and more especially the day, is
worship God together. The greater the turn out, the more able the
organisers will be to repeat an event of this scale in future.
Proceeds from Ukhozi FM Gospel Music Festival will be channeled to the Arnie Williams Foundation for Abused Women and Children.
“The public love these artists, and I believe that working together is beneficial to society,” says Pino Di Benedetto MD of EMI Music.
“It is not only about the music, but also motivation to worship God together – changing the lives of some who think there is no hope,” he says.
All faith based missions, churches; including pastors and, all and sundry have been requested to buy tickets on time to avoid disappointment.
The fest is also in support of National Women’s Month which happens throughout the month of August.
Ticket prices start from R80, R100 and R130 each and are available from
Computicket. Gates open at 8am, the show starts at 10am and ends at
7pm.
Visible and tight security will be on high alert…
