With the ‘We own the Night’ theme the organisers had to search and look deeper on how to resurrect what is commonly known as the place for coal- emalahleni back from obscurity!
This Friday on May 25, ‘We own the Night’ organisers Senong Global Management and Lets’ Rock U Entertainment in partnership with PassionFace, will be hosting the night with an acapella group ‘The Soil’ at eMalahleni Civic Centre, Witbank starting from 6pm.
The purpose of the gig is two-fold: revive the area as one of happening joints in the area and secondly, to try and conscientious the youth on the importance of life through edutainment.
‘The Soil’ will be joined by Malik of the great hit single “Mthulise” and Generations crew amongst them Xoli Zondi aka Zodwa, and Matli Mohapeloa aka Eugene from Scandal.
The event organizers Bheki Senong and partner Tumelo Mokoka do promise an unforgettable night in Witbank.
“Having partnered with various stakeholders, we seek to involve youth’s from near-by areas to mingle, share and ask questions on how to better themselves with their stars,” commented Thato Molamu better known as “Nicholas” in the soapie who will also be in attendance.
“This is a once in a lifetime opportunity, one must emphasise.”
