Khoza, wife of PSL chairman and Orlando Pirates boss Dr Irvin “Iron Duke” Khoza died last Friday due to ill-health, according to family member.
She was a respected businesswoman who enjoyed Golf and regarded as someone who was always behind the scenes (she enjoyed privacy) a fact that her peers would agree with.
In public she resembled tough character but behind that was a gentle person with a smile of an angel, having met her once or twice. Very honest and giving. She was also an ardent church-goer.
This is also brushed off to Irvin in terms of business – a cliché that behind every successful man, it’s a woman!
Messages of condolences continued to stream in from all sectors all society, such as President Cyril Matamela Ramaphosa, PSL, the minister of sport and recreation Nathi Mthethwa, the EFF, ANC and ordinary members of society.
The couple had three children named Sonono Khoza, Mpumi Khoza and Nkosana Khoza. They also had one grandchild named Thandekile Matina Zuma. She was Irvin Khoza’s second wife.
The power couple were Sowetans throughout.
At the time of publishing no details on memorial and funerals service were made.
Rest eternally in Peace sis Mantwa!
