‘Dead-man Walking’ is how All Blacks have been described as they enter ‘house of pain’ against no-nonsense Boks

COMPLACENCY in the Springboks does not apply.

Last week they went on a rampage and outmuscled the visiting and dejected All Blacks in Mbombela 26-10.

Now on Saturday (August 13) at Emirates Stadium- the ‘house of pain’ New Zealanders should not expect any favours as rugby World Cup champs Boks prove once again why they’re still the best in the world.

It kicks off at 5pm.

They have now lost five of their last six tests, three of four in 2022 and coach Ian Foster, if anything is to by- should be packing his bags here in SA, as he would not be welcomed upon arrival back home.

All Blacks are and still a good side but lately have lost the plot- to such an extent of falling down the rugby ladder in the world –from No1 to No5- that’s how bad things are in the black and white outfit. This is their worst ever ranking.

A “Dead Man Walking” is a fitting description while the cruel media has dubbed his team “Foster’s Imposters” sums up how the mighty has fallen.

But for SA this shows how determined coach Jacques Nienaber’s boys are.

Instead they’re hungrier than the All Blacks and this has proven why he can easily chop and change players as he would like, hence the superlative ‘complacency’ does not feature in the team.

Yes, I do expect Boks to win convincingly and show the world what it takes to build a united and non-racial winning mentality.

As for NZ captain Sam Cane, he should just do the honourable thing and hand-over his jersey to Boks leader Siya Kolisi, finish & klaar!

The ‘house of pain’ will be abound with young and old, black and white, in green and yellow T-shirts, makarapas, vuvuzelas – ‘smelling blood’.

The game will be preceded by Springboks Women against another vising side Spain.

It kicks off from 1pm.
