The three-day show takes place at University of Johannnesburg (Soweto Campus) from Friday September 6 until 8.
Entering its tenth-edition, this is an exclusive event which would be showcasing food, wine, travel, as well as exhibition related to wine.
This is an opportunity for visitors to learn appropriate combination between food and wine from experts that would include Nederburg Wines, amongst others.
Nederburg is teaming up with Robertsons Herbs & Spices to share its passion for wine and food pairing at this year’s Taste Theatre. Various tasting times will be made public for visitors.
Featuring Samuel Viljoen and Wellington Metshane of Nederburg, as well as seasoned celebrity chef Citrum Khumalo, the concept offers visitors an entertaining, informal and interactive taste-and-discover encounter with wine and food flavours, textures and palate weight.
“It’s much more than a show-and-tell event,” explains Melissa Diedericks, brand manager for Nederburg.
This also serves as an opportunity to have a career in wine and hospitality -for those keen in the industry.
Festival tickets cost R130 per person or R310 for a 3-day pass.
For R130, you get a free tasting glass to taste over 1 000 of South Africa’s finest wines and a festival buyer’s guide.
Celebrity Chefs will also be in attendance!
