Music legend will be missed

TRIBUTES are pouring in for multi-award-winning South African musician Gloria Bosman who has died aged 50.

The Soweto-born singer was known for her versatile voice and was celebrated for her ability to transcend different genres.

Her first album debuted in 1999 and earned her the coveted Best Newcomer award at the South African Music Awards.

She went on to earn more than 11 nominations in her career as well as another SAMA for Best Female Composer.

She shared the stage with several musical greats, including Hugh Masekela, Sibongile Khumalo and Sipho ‘Hotstix’ Mabuse.

She was better known as “The Boss” within the industry.

Meanwhile, Costa Titch died on staging performing at the Ultra music fest on Saturday.

The Big Flexa hitmaker, real name Costa Tsobanoglou, collapsed and died while performing at the Ulta music festival in Johannesburg.

He was just 27 years.

Videos posted on social media show him falling twice while dazzling party-goers at Expo Centre in Nasrec.

He’s known for his many hits such as Activate and Nkalakatha.
