Percy Tau hogs headlines for all wrong reasons

SOUTH AFRICA is breathing through a wound.

Its all because Bafana Bafana missed a penalty and to compound matters, lost 2-0 miserably against Mali, in the opening of their match at the 2023 Afcon on Tuesday.

Al Ahly star Percy Tau missed a penalty in the first 20m of the game, after Mali defender had committed a foul on Evidence Makgopa, as a result a VAR was conducted for a foul play.

The Hugo Broos and Helman Mkhalele troops have to up their aggression in the second game, if they do not want to face another backlash back home, for not proceeding to the elimination stages.

Enter EFF’s Julius Sello Malema, who vented his anger and likened Bafana to cats instead of Lions, blaming SAFA’s President Dr Danny Jordaan for such mediocre.

Look, we can talk, speculate and analyse as expected but its up to these bunch of players to own up and produce a win in their next encounter and nothing else, or else pack your bags early and hamba khaya.

As things stand the loot promised by SAFA will not be coming their way, either, I swear!

To tell honest truth- Bafana is like a girlfriend who keeps hurting you, but still allows back in your life!

Its not like we expected much; but at least show some respect on that jersey and our national flag- assomblief tog. 2023 RWC Boks are cringing at such performance, julle!

Yes, we’re breathing through a wound.
