Sindisiwe Manqele says she was defending herself against an attack when she stabbed Flabba last week.
The woman claims she acted in self-defense.
Her lawyer also argued she’s not a flight risk.
In her affidavit, Manqele claims she believed her life was in danger and had to defend herself against Habedi, who was brutally attacking her.
She has handed in a medical certificate to support her claims.
As she sat quietly in the dock, her attorney Amanda Vilakazi read out the medical certificate to the court which states that she has minor injuries on her upper body.
The attorney told the court Manqele is a suitable candidate for bail as she’s not a flight risk and will not interfere with any witnesses.
Manqele also confirmed that her family has received death threats.
In her previous appearance she had visible injuries which were unexplained.
She also proceeded to show the court her injuries, which were stitches on her left wrist, a bruise on her left leg and a stab wound to her stomach.
Her lawyer had asked that a private doctor be sent to examine her at the Johannesburg Prison.
