Popular Nine Hours of Kyalami returns, so petrolheads, music fanatics be ready for an epic ‘xperience’

THE South African Endurance Series (SAES) has launched the Nine Hours of Kyalami for 2024.

It has been scheduled from November 29th and 30th at Kyalami Int’l Race Track.

Apart from the exhilarating motor exhibition, top SA acts have been confirmed.

The launch, held at Tempo restaurant, Sunninghill, was hosted by petrolhead and sports presenterClauie-Grace Mpanzaand motorsport broadcaster Prince Ndiweni and Vic Maharaj, CEO of Motorsport SA, further underscored the event’s importance. 

Headed by Xolile Letlaka, SAES Chairman and the founder of Into Africa Racing, the Nine Hours of Kyalami is a celebration of passion, resilience, and the spirit of motorsport.

Peace Mabe, Deputy Minister of Sports, Arts and Culture, expressed her enthusiasm for the event, recognising its contribution to promoting the sport, tourism, and economic development.

She reaffirmed the government’s commitment to supporting initiatives that elevate South Africa’s status as a key player in the international motorsport arena.

The event promises non-stop entertainment for the whole family, such as Kids Zone and for the younger generation of enthusiasts, SAES will, for the first time, be hosting a Virtual vs. Real competition. More than 100 SIM racer teams.

Tickets to the public areas for the round five Friday race is R150.

Tickets including the popular Fan Zone are R450 for the entire Saturday while VIP tickets are available at R1750, that includes all meals and paddock access.

An exclusive Private Lounge experience is available at Tempo Restaurant for the elite package that also gets you onto the famous grid walk on top of all the other entertainment available.
