THE South African Football Association boss to appear in court today.

Dr Danny Jordaan, who is also a lawyer by profession, will appear at the Palm Ridge Court, Ekhurhuleni, on November 13 2024.

Charges range from fraud, theft, and irregular use of SAFA funds to bolster his public image.

Jordaan, allegedly misused R1.3 million to hire a communications company to repair his tarnished image after sexual assault by former ANC’s MP, who is now staying abroad.

Adding more fuel to the fire is an organisation #NotInMyName has called for him to step down.

The organisation’s Secretary-General, Themb a Masango, said that more charges could be added and is urging him to step down until the case is resolved, according to the SABC Sport.
