THE organisers of the Gauteng Walk look forward to the race on November 30, Sunday.
It will begin and end-off at the Joburg Zoo, in the morning.
The Gauteng Walk will afford walkers, partners, stakeholders and members of the public both the 5km and 8km distances.
“The Gauteng Walk is a reminder that transformation begins when we walk together — in health, in purpose, and in unity,” says Tebogo Edward Lerole, Chairman of Mzansi Act Now, organisers of the walk.
“This is not just a walk — it’s a movement for hope, healing, and the restoration of dignity across communities.”
Initially it was scheduled for November 20 but due to the G20 Summit road closures, it was postponed to new date 30th November.
Advocacy is at the core of Mzansi Act Now and there will be a huge awareness programme happening and other monthly initiatives to drive awareness, says Lerole.
Each participant will receive a race number, finisher medal, and access to the Wellness Village.
