ITS AFRICA Month and plans are afoot to celebrate this special Continent.
It is also inspired by the urgent need for Africa entrepreneurs, creatives and artist to collaborate.
The Constitutional Hill in Braamfontein, Joburg, will host a four-day event, and on Saturday, a festival will be held that seeks to create an enabling environment for young people across Africa to exchange ideas and do business.
African business will be on Thursday with Business Talks series, a platform where thought leaders impart their knowledge and skills in their respective field.
Guests will engage with some of Africa’s leading business people who are both from corporate as well as the entrepreneurial sector.
THE BUSINESS OF AFRICA PANEL will feature Papama Ramogase of Africa Your Time is Now, Brand expert Thebe Ikalafeng, Apiwe Nxusani-Mawela of Brewmaster ,Filmmaker Katleho Ramaphakela and Monde Twala who is a Senior Vice President at Paramount.
A film festival and summit hosted by the Gauteng Film Commission will kick off on Thursday as part of the programme.
The festivities will culminate into a music festival on Saturday which features a diverse line up of artists namely Pheelz from Nigeria, DBN Gogo, Mpho Sebina from Botswana, Blaxkcie and Brothers of Peace.

The Africa Day Celebration is presented by The Locrate Market, BET, MTV Base in partnership with The Department of Sports, Arts and Culture and the Gauteng Film Commission.
