"Baby-Face" does it again for Boks; as a 'tribute' to fallen journalist!

Despite being under pressure from the first whistle; Boks showed tenacity and the will to WIN.

The visitors New Zealand; were always going to be a threat as expected but our boys stood their guts and at the end broke the hoodoo at the fortress Ellis Park.

Yes, we got rid of that monkey from our back by outsmarting, outnumbering and outclassing the current WC champs 27-24. Yes, a very close shave indeed!

This prompted former Boks Breyton Paulse ‏@BreytonPaulse  to post on his facebook:

Oh what a moment,what a boytjie!Cool as you like,and Lambie slots it!Unbelievable!#UnderPressure#Nervesofsteel#MrCool.

Yes, Pat “Baby-Face”Lambie made a huge difference. With the backing of his teammates they trounced the feared All Blacks.

With the 2015 rugby WC on course, we hope Heyneke Meyer and hic technical team have an idea who must be on that plane.

Amen!

Meanwhile, we would like to take this opportunity to send our deepest and sincere condolences to the family and friends of former celebrated Sowetan sport journalist Meshack Motloung.

‘Bra Mesh’ as I came to know him was always cheerful, full of laughter and understanding when discussing any national matter of interest.

The petite ‘Bra Mesh’ was synonymous for his suit-trademark, and he never failed.

It is such legends’ that some of us the younger generation took a leaf from, and learnt the art of reporting on any subject.

‘Bra Mesh’ I’m honoured for having shared thoughts and learning some basics of journalism from you, though it was never enough. Yes, it is never enough.

Rest eternally forever in Peace!

Robalang ka ntho madi a tshologe baaga Motloung!
