MSG Africa, headed by industry player Given Mkhari, owns Capricorn FM, Power FM and soon to be launched Rhythm FM and Beat FM in the and Eastern Cape and Free State, respectively.
Currently, the breakfast show host on Kaya FM, Mabena will relinquish his post on May 1 2017.
This is a coup deta for MSG Group in that it has been speculated Mabena, would play a meaningful role behind the scenes at Kaya FM, considering his high level of intelligence within the broadcasting industry.
Says MSG Group Chairman, Mkhari the appointment of Mabena will further deepen the group’s creative and operational capacity.

It’s unclear if Mabena will no longer be behind the mic or his voice be used on special projects.
