Having ashamedly lost their opening game in Cape Town, the boys applied a fighting spirit and donder the visitors in last week’s epic win at Ellis Park.
Yes, confidence is back in the team and coach Allister Coetzee should be applauded for sticking to his formation and making super substitutes at the right time.
But, it must be pointed out that Boks must be wary of the performance they dished out in the first half. It did not show that they’re former World Cup winners as they struggled and puffed as Irish took them to the cleaners. Such behavior will cost them in the long run.
Whatever, Coetzee and his technical team said to them worked magically, as they scored tries and took the game to the Irish, feverishly.
Coetzee has spoken up the need to start from point zero this week and improve their kicking game, and maybe he’s right. You can’t play a quick paced game if your forwards aren’t on top, which they were in the second half last week, and the Irish pack is better this time.

Kick-off 5:30pm
#LOVERUGBY. It s game on!
