e 13 year old will be sharing stage with Rashid Lanie Band at the internationally renowned Nikis Jazz Restaurant next to Market Theatre, Newtown on 22 (this Friday) and 23, respectively.
“Danno” who under his belt has recorded a single in the US at one of the world’s sought after Studios -that has recorded the likes of Michael Jackson, Quincy Jones, among others- is growing in statue, having signed as the first ever young African on the dotted lines with Yamaha, as a brand ambassador.
The Cape Town born but Joburg based, “Danno” has been admitted on a full scholarship to attend the Louis Armstrong Satchmo Summer Camp in July this year.
Currently, he’s studying music classes with Unisa.
The event forms part of raising funds for his trip.
Recently, the youngster was part of the entertainers aboard the luxurious Premier Classe that went to the annual Cape Town International Jazz fest in Cape Town.
