Chiefs purge 20 players!

gould
Out. Defender Morgan Gould has been released from AmaKhosi.

This follows a massive off loading of 20 players whom some were regarded as ‘deadwoods’.

Interestingly, veterans Morgan Gould and Siboniso Gaxa have been put on transfer, whereas Reneilwe “Yeye” Letsholonyane has joined former coach Stuart Baxter at current Nedbank champs SuperSport United.

Defender Keegan Ritchie will follow “Yeye” in a swap deal with Sibusiso Khumalo.

Goal-minder Reyaad Pieterse is yet to confirm his next move after not renewing his contract.

This is the season Chiefs would like to forget quickly having won no silverware, a disgrace in the history of football at the Naturena outfit.

This also means coach Steve Komphela has been retained but it remains to be seen if, the technical team will be affected by the changes.

At the time of publishing Bobby Motaung club’s football manager did not indicate which players are they vying for their signatures.
