The goal of the #Get Digified event is to reach as many young people as possible, as we aim to tackle South Africa’s youth unemployment rate by up-skilling youth and enlightening them about the endless opportunities that can be unlocked with the use of basic digital skills,” said Sherry Dzinoreva, Program Director, Digify Africa.
The programme is designed to open a new world of opportunities where digital skills provide youth with both personal and professional advantages that can create new pathways in education, employment and empowerment.
Bytes courses have been offered at local universities, colleges, high schools, youth organisations and community groups throughout the country.
The Muffinz will provide entertainment and also share how the digital space has assisted them grow their brand and musical footprint across the globe.
